DMEM – Ham’s F12 medium is a 1:1 mixture of DMEM and Ham’s F12 media. Initially developed to study the hormonal requirements of cells in culture, DMEM-Ham’s F12 serves as a basal medium for growing various mammalian cells, including MDCK, fibroblasts, and endothelial cells.
This formulation does not contain sodium bicarbonate.
