Minimum Essential Medium (MEM) is one of the most commonly used cell culture media. It has demonstrated the ability to support a wide variety of normal and transformed cells in culture. The medium contains Earle’s Balanced Salts, making it suitable for CO2-enriched environments.
Its formulation includes L-Glutamine and 25mM HEPES.
