Biosera Bovine Serum is derived from clotted whole blood collected from adult cattle. The blood is centrifuged, and the serum is collected and filtered at 0.2µm. This serum is sourced from cattle older than 12 months.
Each batch is meticulously controlled, from serum collection through all stages of treatment and production to final packaging at our facility. All batches undergo testing for endotoxin and mycoplasma levels, specific virus tests (BVD), hemoglobin, and total protein levels.
