MEM medium is one of the most commonly used cell culture media. It has shown its ability to support a variety of normal and transformed cells in culture. Its formulation includes Earle’s salts, allowing its use in CO2-enriched environments.
The formulation includes L-Glutamine and is free of sodium bicarbonate and non-essential amino acids.
