Initially created to support liver tumor cells, this medium is suitable for culturing primary cells from various tissues, including bone marrow, skin, kidney, lung, and rat embryos. Additionally, it is an excellent medium for cultivating a wide range of human and rat normal or transformed cell lines.
The formulation of the medium excludes sodium bicarbonate and includes L-Glutamine.
